This 218710300 Frigidaire Filter Wrench is used with PureSource / PureSourcePlus filter systems (WF1CB / WFCB). It is used to help loosen the filter cup on Frigidaire and Kenmore refrigerators. This is an inexpensive tool to have which makes changing the WFCB or WF1CB filter very easy. The water filter wrench is used to loosen, but should never be used to tighten the filter cup.
